  • Digital Leaders

Our Digital Leaders play an important role in supporting technology across the school. They help staff and pupils make the most of our digital resources while promoting safe and responsible use of technology.

    Digital Leaders are responsible for:

    • Classroom Support
Assisting teachers with setting up and charging tablets, laptops and interactive whiteboards, as well as helping to organise and manage digital equipment such as iPads.

    • Online Safety Promotion
Encouraging safe and responsible use of technology, supporting Safer Internet Day activities, and helping to deliver assemblies about digital citizenship and online safety.

    • Testing New Technology
Exploring new educational apps, software and coding tools before they are introduced to classes, and demonstrating how they can be used to support learning.

    • Peer Support and Mentoring
Helping younger pupils and staff with everyday technology tasks and providing support with minor technical issues.

    • Computing Club Leadership
Attending and helping to lead Computing Clubs, encouraging pupils to develop their digital skills in a fun and engaging way.

    • Media and Communication
Supporting school assemblies, filming school productions and events, and recording pupil voice interviews to help gather feedback from children across the school.

    • School Website Support
Assisting staff with updating the school website, including selecting and uploading photographs that celebrate learning and achievements across the school.

Through these responsibilities, our Digital Leaders develop confidence, communication skills, teamwork and leadership qualities while helping to enhance the use of technology throughout the school community.
