Sweet Or Sour!
What are we learning about?
In literacy, pupils will read, explore and write recounts in the form of a biography during this genre. Beginning by analysing examples of biographies, then developing the skills required to write their own. Pupils will be challenged to plan and write a biography about the life of an author.
In numeracy, we will focus on deepening the children’s understanding of number facts and relationships. We will give a lot of focus to understanding number and the four operations and push the children to think deeper and explain their methods of calculation. We will also use reasoning questions to make the children think and work methodically and real life problems to bring the learning to life.

- Swimming will be on a Wednesday during the Spring term.
- Homework and reading books will be given out on a Friday and will need to be returned to school by Tuesday.
- Water and fruit can be brought into school for snack.
- Please ensure all items of clothing are labelled with names.
