Our topic this term is
'Go with the Flow'
What are we learning about?
This term, our Science and Technology topic is Go with the Flow.
In this topic, students will explore the forces and inventions that embody the world they live in. We will investigate our local area and take part in a variety of scientific investigations.
Through this learning, students will develop skills in Science and Technology by asking questions, researching, sharing ideas and creating digital presentations. This topic encourages curiosity, prediction and inference, and the importance of collecting data to prove their predictions correct, and investigating their thoughts and testing their theories,
Key information
- PE will take place during Summer term each Wednesday.
- Reading books will need to be brought to school daily- Please read with your child every night.
- Spelling words will be sent home on a Friday, please help your child to learn these. They will be tested on the words every Friday.
- Homework will be given out on a Friday and will need to be returned to school by Tuesday.
- Water (or squash) and fruit can be brought into school for snack- please label these.
- Please ensure all items of clothing are labelled with names.
