  Immersion Day

   

  Our Immersion Day celebrates  the countries of France, Greece, Poland and Wales today.

  We are helping to all become more ethically, informed citizens of our world.

   

  The whole school is splitting into 4 groups and journeying between these 4 nations over the course of the day.

• Harry and Meghan - ROYAL WEDDING PARTY

  Yes - it's time to celebrate.

  The children and staff are looking forward to our celebration on Friday afternoon - 18th May (Morning party for part-time Nursery).

  We are putting up the BUNTING for Harry and Meghan's wedding. It will be a day to remember.

• NETBALL LEAGUE STARTS in Ynys ABERDARE

  The Netball club has been training hard this term already and Mrs Wade and Mrs Lewis have entered the children in a Netball league starting on Wednesday 9th May. Good Luck team. We are looking for offers from parents with children in the team to offer lifts too.

• Tests in Reading, and Maths for children in Year 2 - 6

  Every year, from Year 2 right the way through to Year 9, all children in Welsh Schools sit tests in Reading/Comprehension, Maths Procedural and Maths Reasoning TESTS.

  Parents receive the scores in July from the Welsh Government.
